Video: Box Beam Seaming Machine

The box beam is the horizontal support frame for a pallet rack. There are two ways to make a box beam, one is self-seamed type, and the other is 2 C sections combined type. Believe Industry Company has different machine solutions for each kind of box beam.

Here we will talk about how to combine 2 seperated C sections into 1 integrated box beam. Believe Industry Company has 2 machine solutions for our customers - automatic seaming machine and semi-auto seaming machine.

Automatic Seaming Machine:

After cutting, the C sections are conveyed automatically on the stacker, and then the C sections will be pushed down and turned over pneumatically. 2 pieces of C sections can form a box beam, one of the C section will be turned over to cover the other C section, the video will show you how it works clearly. Then the end of the box beam will be pushed to make it even, after that, the box beam will enter the seaming machine. After several steps of seaming, the 2 seperated C sections will be seamed together tightly.

Semi-auto Type Seaming Machine

After cutting, the C sections will fall on the unpowered type product table. The the worker will turn over one C section to cover the other one to form the box beam by hand, and then manually push it to make sure the end is even before entering the seaming machine.

The automatic and semi-auto type seaming machine mainly differ in the process of turning over the C section beam and pushing the box beam end even before seaming.
